Introduction Those who know Phil would say he was happiest on or near a motorcycle. Be it his beloved 1981 Suzuki or 2003 Harley Ultra Classic moving him down a stretch of beautiful highway, he was in a supreme comfort zone. Phil loved attending many of the well known biker events, such as Sturgis, Street Vibrations, Arizona Bike Week, and Holister to name a very few. For the past 3 1/2 years he shared this passion with his riding partner and girlfriend Wendy. After completing his AA degree and working a few years at various jobs, he settled into a thirty three plus year career as a Telecommunications Technician with PG&E where he earned a reputation for methodical and conscientious work. He planned to retire shortly and enjoy life at his mountain home in Magalia, California. Phil was preceded in death by parents, Philip E. and Jean Kamp, and will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Elizabeth (Rick) Tyson, grand daughter, Kayla, step children, Sean O’Sullivan, Theresa O’Sullivan, sisters Barbara (Bob) Haehnel, and Terri (Khosrow) Vijeh, girlfriend Wendy Higham, as well as his loving aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
