| Introduction | I have been involved in banding birds since 2001. I first got involved at a MAPS station (Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship) and experienced all of the things one has to learn in order to get their Master Permit. I also ran a study of White-crowned Sparrows that tested if they return to specific locations (site fidelity) each winter. Now I am working to determine the status and distribution of birds on this new site. I have also added a study of Painted Buntings (see Pages Section).
