| Introduction | I’m not getting old. I’m getting better!!! My husband and I have been married for 25 years. I have 4 grown children and, so far, 3 grandaughters. I recently turned 50, though I look about 40, feel about 30, and make love like I’m 20, and I hope that never changes. I feel I have turned a corner that I didn’t want to turn. But now that I have, I’m finding I feel completely renewed. It’s like a light went on and I realized, I’m still me. I don’t know what I thought was going to happen. I didn't magically become an old lady just because I turned 50. And the freedom that came with that realization now allows me to look forward with hope, anticipation, and excitement over what my future holds. |
