| Introduction | I am a wife and mother of three, encourager, thinker, believer, lifelong student, warrior for educational justice and equitable human rights, lover of people, peace, and knowledge in practice. I have worked with children of all ages for thirty years, beginning when I was in high school. I have taught preschool, all elementary grades, and continue to teach secondary and at the university level. Teaching has been my resistance toward the systems that oppressed me as a child and continue to marginalize and harm specific groups of people. My life's mission is to empower my students to become that which the system never intended any of us to be. |

What spells can you cast with magic markers?
Where do you find yourself in the present moment and where do you want go from here? (Continuously asking myself)
