| Introduction | I am an Outdoor Educator, Outdoor facilitator for team building. management,leadership training and National Outdoor Leadership School certified Alaska Mountaineering Instructor and NIM Alumni . I spent 20 years of my time volunteering; conducting, organizing, leading mountain climbing expeditions; teaching rock climbing; backpacking trips and nature awareness programs for all age groups in India, Hong Kong, USA. Travelled extensively to work with different people, age groups and varied circumstances to explore the possibilities to channelize the youth to be productive . I worked for the Washington State Juvenile Justice Department and Alaska State Department of Corrections to learn how we can prevent future criminal activities or criminal behaviors. Most of it or all of it can be prevented by creating awareness, continued support from families and communities. Creating awareness through educational programs in schools, families and in the community is the key to successfully eliminate modern life issues permanently. Nature awareness programs in children/schools/families will put youth in the right direction. |
