| Introduction | I graduated from USC with a degree in Finance, with an emphasis in Investments and Capital Markets. I felt prepared to enter the world of commercial banking / corporate debt. I did not, however, feel prepared to steward a new income responsibly. I wanted to pay off my student debt, and also wanted to develop successful investing and saving habits early on. Like many other fresh graduates, I had little training, and no guidance on the matter. Instead of feeling lost, I got to work. I swept through a dozen personal finance books after I graduated. I then discovered how little my counterparts and I actually knew about handling our own finances well. Hence, I bring you this blog to re-present what I've learned with the hopes that you can be edified and well-guided. |
