Introduction I knew I was an artist at a very young age. Much of my time was spent in front of the tv drawing horses and cowboys while watching Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. Midwestern roots and life on an Ohio farm were important influences. My father taught me to love and respect all God's creatures and appreciate the smallest details in beauty and nature. I knew early on that I "saw" things differently from most people. My professional career included commercial art, teaching art, and 35 years as a commercial interior designer. At the end of my father's life he encouraged me to embrace the artist I always wanted to be. That was the permission I needed to do an "about face" and turn my design studio into an art studio. I have never regretted that decision. I am devoted to 3 things: (other than my loved ones) ....horses, collecting found objects and making art. I draw energy from my studio environment and my artist buddies . One day several years ago while sitting in my studio I felt the Holy Spirit come up behind and embrace me. I knew it was all going to be ok.
