| Introduction | I'm a radio lifer! I started in Syracuse, N.Y. as a DJ in 1961 and spent 10 years on the air finally landing in Portland, Maine. In 1972, I moved into sales then into management and the fun never ended. I moved to Florida in 1998 after quadruple bypass surgery and I celebrated my 67th birthday in August. I'm married, with 2 grown children, both of whom have been on the radio. I'm the grandfather of 2 and the step father of a veterinarian. I've also published a business magazine, owned a marketing consulting business, a mattress store and I played baseball and skied until I was 58 years old. Over the years I was fortunate to receive the perks of radio, free concerts, free skiing, free front row seats at Fenway Park, free travel, free food, free clothes, free family vacations. I once received, as a bonus from a generous owner, a free Corvette! It's been a great ride but now it's time to give back. (no, you can't have the Corvette!) For me, The DollarSaver Program is a perfect way for me to give something back to the business I love! |
