"And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." -John 6:40 Who is the Son? "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." -John 20:31 Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, the 2nd person of the trinity, died in your place. He died for you because sin can't go unpunished, justice was fulfilled on the cross through Christ's death. Jesus was raised from the dead, and God will raise all those who believe in Him (John 3:15-17). |
