| Introduction | I am a product of the Baby Boomer Generation having been born in 1956. I grew up in a rural area of Northwestern PA and had a wonderful childhood. I played outdoors, was good at sports and excelled in school. I attended a small public school and then the University of Pittsburgh with an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA. I graduated in the Jimmy Carter recession and accepted my first job offer at Texaco's world headquarters in Harrison, NY. I later transferred to Atlanta with a Texaco-Saudi joint venture as a retail planner. I ultimately ended up in Houston working for Shell Oil in retail planning. I grew up the oldest child with 2 brothers and 1 sister. I married my high school sweetheart and we are happily together after moving to our retirement home in Hendersonville, NC in 2010. |
