Introduction | Hi! I currently serve as the Director of Disaster Response for LCMS World Relief and Human Care. Prior to entering the ministry I was a police officer in Montana and Wyoming where I received training in responding to critical incidents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) as well as the Montana and Wyoming Law Enforcement Adcademies. After completing seminary, I served two years as an LCMS missionary to Sierra Leone, West Africa. Later, I served congregations in Miles City, MT, Midlothian, Texas and Hamilton, MT. My duties now include coordinating the response of LCMS World Relief and Human Care to both domestic and international disasters. I work from my home in Arlington, Texas, traveling widely as duty calls. Linda and I have been married 41 years and are blessed with 5 children and 6 grandsons. |
