| Introduction | I'm a 50-something (closer to 40) female, a homebody (most of the time). I knit, do various types of craftwork, take photos, like gardening and read. Here are my occasional thoughts on those things and more. |
| Interests | Not enough space. . . Crafts, Music, Food (vegetarian), Theology and Philosophy. There's some other -ologies in there as well, but that's all you really need to know right now. |
| Favorite Movies | Not something I think about. I don't like psychological thrillers - no, I HATE psychological thrillers. They make my brain crawl, and not in a good way. I like animation. I like sci-fi or fantasy films. I like historical dramas and I LOVE comedy - usually traditional and intelligent comedy. Slapstick leaves me cold. |
| Favorite Music | It's probably more accurate to say the types I dislike - which depend more the track itself than the artist or genre. I don't, as a rule, like Grand-ol'-opry country-western. I don't happen to like any hardcore rap/hip-hop/garage/thrash metal types either, simply due to the language/violence content. Other than that. . .anything goes. Anything. |
| Favorite Books | Got a decade or two? I read compulsively. If I'm not crafting, I'm reading. I read to sleep, I read to kill time. I read. At last count (about 5 years ago) I had roughly 14, 000 books in my home. There's a bit of everything in there. |
Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
Boy, you must have someone following me. I don't wear a scarf because I'm usually in a hurry. If I remember, or it's bitterly cold, I'll make the time to find a scarf - it's not as if there's a shortage of them. *smile*.
