| Introduction | My family means everything to me. I have a wonderful husband of 24 years (yes, I got married when I was 7...I am from Oklahoma, you know!) two awesome sons and the most beautiful daughter-in-love. I could not ask for more....but I also have two fantastic sisters, Shannon and my little love, Stormi, the best brothers-in-law ever and awesome big nieces and nephews...and it gets better! In the past three years, I have had the pleasure of welcoming a new nephew and niece and a grandson and granddaughter. At this moment, we are surrounded by babies and nothing makes me happier. Brian and I have fantastic parents and amazing friends. I am blessed with a career I love (most of the time!) Thanks to Brian for encouraging me to get my Masters Degree, so that I can continue to make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities. I have wonderful, remarkable, fantastic friends. Seriously, my friends ROCK. There are no greater girls anywhere than my girls...I am truly blessed and I need to remember that because often I take the life I have for granted. Hopefully this blog will help me focus on the positive things in life. |
