| Introduction | I am FireLantern: As a kid, summertime means having overnights in a Beach Resort-the most awaited part of the resort life is at night when the fireflies flutters over the trees- I hate it when mom would shoo me to bed, I still wanted to enjoy the fireflies...I knew that in the mornings there would be no fireflies... Mommy said that fireflies will always be there- even in the mornings- they just don't light their tails because God never wanted them to consume all their lights, so that during nighttimes, when the world is in darkness God could still see His creation because of the lights coming from the fireflies.. Nowadays, there are no more fireflies-- firelanterns couldn't match the beauty of a firefly... with the going ons in my life now, I am just a firelantern hoping to become a firefly... Someday, when I leave the earth, fireflies will accompany me to meet my Creator... the Creator of fireflies... |

| Favorite Books | BIBLE -the book of my life, CODAL - ang aklat ng mga pantas, Nancy Drew Mystery Series -The book that started my reading addiction, Pollyanna - one of the 1st books I read, The Incorruptibles by Joan Caroll Cruz - the book that never failed to give me hope and keep my faith, The Art of War by Sun Tzu -the book that taught me how to live in this wild world, Charles Swindoll's Favorite Stories and Illustrations - the book I love to share to friends, it never failed to give them inspirations just as it inspires me... Crrently I am reading The Mighty and the Almighty - it's a book about religion and diplomacy, how diplomacy reigns amidst our chaotic society, brought by differences in religions and beliefs. |
