| Introduction | At 62, on the brink of retirement I was diagnosed with Stage IIIc ovarian cancer. I am in remission after nine months of grueling treatment. I am grateful to be alive and am relishing the life I used to take for granted. I am blessed to have family and friends who stood by me during the scariest time of my life. I retired at the end of my treatment and spend my days enjoying simple pleasures. |
