| Introduction | A Seattle resident with not much to add here as any reader that will come along right now already knows me. 'Least they think they do. For now I will let my blog speak for itself. Your questions, comments and observations are appreciated and always welcome. It's always great to hear from my readers. |
| Interests | You'll often find me dabbling on my Apple laptop, following politics and current events. I'm into gadgets. I enjoy photography and reading. I enjoy an eclectic taste in music. I like going to movies, concerts and plays. Eating out is good too! I enjoy family get-togethers and a night out with friends, a good social life keeps my batteries charged. I like doing fun things. I love to laugh and to make others laugh ... and whatever involves making that happen ... I like to do it! I enjoy riding big motorcycles (The Harley Ultra Electra Glide is just my style!) I enjoy doing anything in the sun and love to travel. A great way to “wind down” is by going on a cruise. I love the Caribbean. I'd love to see Europe, especially England and Italy. Also frequent visits with family and friends from coast to coast are among our favorite things to occupy the time. There’s so much that interests me than there will ever be time to do them all. If you’d like to know more, please ask! And thanks for checking out my profile. |
| Favorite movies | I really enjoy going to the movies. It’s an escape from the realities of life and an opportunity to forget one's problems. (I could hang out in a theater all day and on occasion have!) Among my favorite movies -- those I can see again and again are -- It’s a Wonderful Life, Patton, Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, How Green Was My Valley, Cinderella Man, We Were Soldiers, When Harry Met Sally, Waking Ned Devine, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Pride of the Yankees, My Dog Skip, Legends of the Fall, Little Big Man, A River Runs Through It, You’ve Got Mail, The Stars Fell on Henrietta and yes ... I admit it ... Dumb & Dumber. |
| Favorite music | I grew up on the rock music of the 60's and 70's, but as I’ve “matured” I’ve grown to have an “eclectic” taste in music. I enjoy most everything ranging from Sinatra to The Doobie Brothers to Diana Krall to Delbert McClinton and everything in-between. (I know ... "Delbert Who?" Check him out!) It just depends on my mood at the time. Rock, Country, Jazz, Blues etc. etc. Bring it on! |
| Favorite books | Rarely will I read anything other than non-fiction. Real life's as entertaining as anything one can make up! Here are some of the recent books I've read: The Perfect Thing: How the iPod Shuffles Commerce, Culture, and Coolness by Steven Levy - Dutch: A Memoir of Ronald Reagan by Edmund Morris - American Soldier by General Tommy Franks - D-Day by Stephen E. Ambrose - No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: by Doris Kearns Goodwin - Truman by David McCullough - Dogs Never Lie About Love by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson |
