Introduction I saw "Psycho" when I was eight and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" when I was ten. I used to worry I was a sociopath until I got my heart broken for the first time and cried for two weeks straight. I'm obsessed with serial killers in a "I-don't-want-to-be-one" kind of way. I'm preppy on the outside, Goth-y on the inside. Basically, I'm a chick who loves to watch really bloody, violent horror movies. The good, the bad, the so-bad-they're-good. I'll watch 'em all.
Interests Board games, horror movies, karaoke, dreaming of material things I can't afford and probably never will be able to due to my B.A. in comparative literature
Favorite Movies Grease 2, Showgirls, Reefer Madness: The Musical, the Freddy movies, the Jason movies, any "killer doll" movie, or "evil child" movie. Also, any "gypsy curse" movie although that particular genre doesn't have as many to choose from. I actually have fantastic taste in film and consider myself a cinephile/snob of sorts, but I'm being honest here about the kinds of movies I watch the most often. Casablanca will always reign supreme, but these are the flicks that comfort me on a cold lonely, boyfriend-less night. They are as comforting to me as Mom's mashed potatoes. This is what happens when your parents let you watch "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" before your tenth birthday...
Favorite Music Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Seal, Joni Mitchell, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Springsteen, Bright Eyes, Mandy Moore, Regina Spektor. And...."Africa" by Toto. That song is in a league of its own.
Favorite Books Howards End, The Black Dahlia, Great Expectations, The Great Gatsby, Huckleberry Finn, The Catcher In The Rye, Prep, I Capture The Castle
