| Interests | I have so many interests that having a family never allows me the a)opportunity b)time c) finances to enjoy, but I can dream that, one day, I can visit art galleries, literature festivals, learn to salsa, run, swim, learn to swim properly and dive, improve my tennis, do yoga, garden, go to music festivals, attend concerts(other than school ones), go to the theatre and study for a PHD whilst baking cakes and drinking the finest champagne! |
| Favorite movies | The Red Shoes (age 8, I was an odd child and was desperate for a pair of those red ballet shoes); Out of Africa, (age 11 and I already loved the whole cream silk & linen dresses, dark wood furniture, kenyan landscape design thing going on) Star wars (aged 12, big crush on Luke Skywalker) and as an adult(?) it has to be the visual and musical extravanza that is Moulin Rouge. |
| Favorite music | Now here, I get complicated. As a 15 year old I sang the St. Matthew Passion with the Bach Choir at the Royal festival hall,so I love anything else by Bach, LOVE Elgar's Cello concerto (Jaq. Du Pre of course), Beethoven's monsters, Moonlight etc., and then, a good dose of the Killers, Black eyed Peas, Grace Jones 'La Vie en Rose' (but that's all by her)U2 for nostalgic reasons, need to think of some more.... |
| Favorite books | without doubt A.S Byatt's Possession, Jane Smilie's A Thousand Acres, Shakespeare - genius, need to think of some more.... |
