Introduction About myself: Born in Switzerland, I attended my first 5 school years in Argentina. 1960 to 1963 I enrolled in the Biodynamic Agriculture college “Warmonderhof” in Holland where I met my later wife Annelien. After a stint in the Swiss army I worked on farms in Germany and Holland, married in 1965 and took on my first job as farm-manager at a Camphill centre for Curative education in Switzerland. 1975 we emigrated to the USA with our 4 children and developed Hawthorne Valley Farm, a 250 acre diversified farm connected to a Waldorf school. 1994 destiny brought us to the Dominican Republic where we founded a Export Company for organic tropical produce and our own Farm operations. I am in the fortunate position to work with a dedicated group of associates who take responsibility of the daily operations allowing me to take (working) life less serious, enjoying increasingly longer vacations, Travelling, Sailing and Paragliding. As our business is pretty much established, (we do not necessarily need to grow!) I am dedicated to establish a Waldorf Kindergarten and eventually a full school. If successful I would consider this my most important achievement!
