Introduction	I am a chemical engineer with 25 years of experience in polymerization and polymer processing. I consider weather systems and climate science fascinating. Tracking of tropical systems can be quite complex involving converging weather patterns, changing steering currents and computer models that can estimate the track based on the conditions at the moment. The link between climate and tropical weather continues to be a topic of discussion that remains unproven yet very interesting.
