Introduction	I'm a twentysomething writer who lives and works in downtown Bakersfield. I mainly grew up in the downtown and Oleander neighborhoods and my family has lived in the area since the late 1960s. I recently moved back from Wyoming, where I lived for five years. I attend the community-based Random Writers Workshop. My current projects include a collection of short stories called Little Gods, a novel set in 1990s Bakersfield, and the occasional short creative nonfiction piece.
