| Introduction | My name is Ally. I've lived in Germany for a number of years and while there developed a love of mid -century pottery, textiles and furnishings. I now live happily back in my homeland of Canada where I'm free to thrift without worrying about having to haul stuff across the Atlantic! I grow orchids, ferns, carnivorous plants (namely Nepenthes), cacti and succulents, tillandsia (air plants) as well as other tropical houseplants. My friends, family and boyfriend refer to my plant collection as "the jungle". I have two birds named Darwin and Huxley as well a mid-size aquarium full of fish and snails. |
