| Introduction | I’m the product of a dysfunctional home. Who isn’t? I’ve been on my own since I was 16. Although I had no one to teach me how to become a man, I own all of the mistakes I’ve made along the way. It serves no purpose to mention my early years because my entire adult life has been dedicated to breaking the patters of dysfunction that plagued my youth. I haven’t forgotten where I came from. I just don't associate any blame or credit to that period of my life. Today I’m a 52 year old technology, sales, and marketing professional. I’ve been happily married for 26 years to the most genuinely good person I’ve ever met. My wife, Debbie quite literally saved my life. I’d most certainly be dead or in jail had she not believed in me. She also gave me two beautiful daughters: Meghan and Bryn. Throughout my days I’ve been homeless, bankrupt, rich, and back. It’s been a wild ride. Today I’m reasonably comfortable and secure. I’ve attained a modicum of success, but not without a lot of self-inflicted wounds. Many think they know me, but they only know the facade I project. It’s my hope that through this BLOG I can give others a better view into my soul. |
