Introduction	My name is Kelly Artz, and I grew up in a small mountain town in Colorado with my younger brother, Kristofer. As a teenager I saw the power a local movie theater had in creating community and interpersonal understanding and decided to become a filmmaker. Over the years, my interests have led me to travel the United States, Central America, Europe and Africa. I’ve come to realization that I’ve met amazing people during my travels and through the films I’ve seen. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and am currently an MFA Directing Candidate at UCLA. Everyday I continue my journey in film through stories which utilize my love of emotional expression, diversity, and unique personalities.
