The Empowerment Collective was started by Nasreen Sheikh, a former child sweat shop laborer who rose up to be an international spokesperson for the rights of women and girls in Nepal. I will travel with Nasreen back to Kathmandu to visit her fair trade factory, meet the women who work there, and get to know this fascinating culture and topography. |
