| Introduction | I am a transsexual woman, legally female [ yet only halfway post-op] and living as a woman, since first, going on hormones back on may,28, 2006, LATER, on Aug. 22, 2006-LEGALLY changing both name and GENDER. My journey began back in July, 2004 , when, after a miserable, lonely night observing the heterosexual dating ritual at White Plains,NY's LAZY-BOY singles' bar; I declared to my then friend,John that I had more in common with women, then men. In may, 2005, I donned that denim skirt and realized this was 100% TRUE. While life for me may not be all roses, IT IS STILL WAY BETTER LIVING NOW AS A WOMAN; AND YES, AS A LESBIAN-FEMINIST WOMYN. A SPECIAL THANKS TO THE LATE STEPHANIE ERIN THOMAS OF SAN JOSE, CA.; FOR PUTTING ME IN TOUCH WITH MY TRUE SELF. October 2011 update: just ended my long journey across the Divided [but somewhat United] States of America, not once or twice, but three times. What's the earliest you've gotten up to watch cartoons and what did you see?
back when I was just 8-10 years old, I'd always get up and watch my favorite, Josie and the Pussycats. Funny I never knew the true meaning then as to why the girl's called themselves The Pussycats; something I know well now! but I've got to admit that it was the first feminist cartoon for kids; thus proving that girls could do anything as well as boys, or better!
