Introduction | Tristan Eldritch is an Edwardian sleuth, occultist, and amateur draftman in the school of Beardsley. In 1972, he was voted Pipe Smoker of the Year by readers of the London pipe enthusiaists bible The Gentleman's Chimney. In 1978, he was voted World's Most Desirable Man by a cross-section of Welsh ladies who had been placed in institutional care. He spent much of the 1980's perfecting a certain aristocratic languor when in the horizontal position, a skill he demonstrated to rapturous applause on various chat shows. In the 1990's, he was briefly the editor of Old Moore's Almanac, until his controversial assertion that red skies possess no relevance whatsoever to the dispositon of shepherds resulted in his immediate dismissal. He currently resides in Mount Brown, Dublin, with his feline familar Tzadkiel, and divides his time between writing the 2012 Diaries, and publishing several incendiary, albeit dated, pamphlets expressing his fierce oppositon to the Ladies Suffragette and Irish Home Rule movements. |
