| Introduction | Hi, my name is Crystal a food lover by nature, perfecting the art of cooking by nurture. Some days are much better than others when experimenting in my kitchen. Just ask my loving husband, Andy, who lends his palette so willingly. When he said, "I do" he didn't know what he was getting into. For me, marrying into an Italian family where they have so many amazing cooks was very excited to learn as much as I could about his family's secret Italian recipes. I grew up in a small town in beautiful PEI. My family loved food and loved to eat! My mother would create the most amazing spreads in no time and no one ever left hungry. I have the fondest memories of the amazing aromas and tastes that came from the kitchen, picking berries, and watching my grandmother make the best rolls ever. I’ve always been passionate about food! I’ve been a dietitian for almost a decade now and I feel very blessed and privileged to have learned from so many brilliant people along the way. And yet, I have much to learn about new foods, the latest research, cooking trends, fitness and ways to think differently and empower others. I hope my blog inspires you to eat well, exercise and laugh often. |
