| Introduction | My name is Heather Kohring. I am a mother of 4 , Hayden, age 15 , Hilde age 8 , Addisen age 3 and baby Abigail who's 1. I am married to a wonderful man , Ben, whom I have also dragged into my crazy world of pursuing the ironman dream. I work full time in medicine, as a gastroenterology mid level practitioner . I also have a degree in exercise science with minor in nutrition.My background is swimming , all the way to NCAA division 1 collegiate level . I grew up swimming in the era of 5,000 yards per practice 6 days a week , so endurance training and focus is not the biggest challenge . I know how to commit .THE biggest challenges for me will be training smart in this now 42 year old body ! I love to research best practice for Everything . Hopefully my blog will inspire others and answer some of the same questions I currently have . |
