About me

Location San Francisco, CA, United States
Introduction Thanks for visiting. I became involved in sustainability over a decade ago, when we spoke in terms of "CPR" (conservation, preservation, restoration) and the more integrated concept of "the triple bottom line" was still in utero. My first exposure to this practice area came in the form of supporting environmental NPOs, and more recently in work focused on GHG emissions reduction in the energy sector. I attended Williams College, and hold Masters of Science degrees in Environmental Law and Policy (Vermont Law School) and Marketing Communications (Boston University). I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Sea Turtle Restoration Project (www.seaturtles.org), an international NPO headquartered in Forest Knolls, CA and focused on restoring global sea turtle populations. While I have biases on all major issues, my goal for writings on this site is objective analysis and non-partisan observations on execution of sustainability programs.
