| Introduction | Creating is my life. If I lived to be 200 years old, I would never be able to create all the projects I have in my head- but I will continue to try. Currently I’m excited by the coloration/surface design of fabric. I love to dye, paint, and otherwise change the plain white cloth into something personal and beautiful and then turn it into a fiber art quilted wall hanging. My husband and I are empty nesters and retirees. Our home, which housed a family of four, now houses our enormous collection stuff. So much stuff that we will never be able to move out of this house. We both enjoy many hobbies which in itself isn’t bad. But when you consider that each hobby needs its own set of tools and materials, you find that you soon run out of space. So we turned one of the bedrooms into my studio. Then before you knew it, I needed a dyeing studio. So Kenny built me a dyeing studio in the basement. The other half of the basement houses his wookworking studio. We have a lovely granddaughter, Marissa who is the love of our lives. We enjoy spending time with her as well as our daughter in law, Holly and son, Mike. We are at good time in our lives. |
