| Introduction | Music is the core of my existence. I'm passionate, I'm a dreamer, a traveller, a full-time teacher and a part-time columnist, a literature lover and a film buff. I'm also an aspiring writer. I wish I lived in NYC. I'm a sucker for guitar, sitar, tambourine, organ and low-pitched voices. I can't do without my Ipod. I know all the words to The Velvet Underground and Jesus & Mary Chain songs, all the lines to Almost Famous and The Unbelievable Truth, I get weak in the knees over a New York accent and for people who can recite Shakespeare, Baudelaire or Rimbaud. I can't stand ignorance, arrogance and bigotry. |
