About me

Location Pittsburgh, PA
Introduction I live and write in Pittsburgh, PA and have a diverse background with degrees in photography and psychology, as well as an MFA in writing from Vermont College. I prefer to think of this as the winding path toward writing – a journey where interests in image and human behavior converged as story. My work has appeared or is forthcoming in the following publications: Connotation Press, Now & Then, The Santa Fe Literary Review, The Avery Anthology, Hamilton Stone Review, Blue Earth Review, Hobart, Slipstream, Forge, Word Riot, The Oklahoma Review, Common Ground Magazine, Shalla Magazine, The Photographers' Railroad Page, and Paper Street. My short story “Tests and Measurements” which appeared in the anthology "Workers Write! Tales from the Clinic" has recently been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
