| Introduction | My design career began unexpectedly when I was working as a backup receptionist/secretary. I took Adobe software classes and spent a day with a designer in another office to see what was expected. I hit the ground running since a lot of the corporate marketing used templates. My true introduction to design happened when I joined Inside Sacramento in 2006. The freedom to design without boundaries was challenging, but I soon found my footing and I've never looked back. In my personal life, I'm a life long recorder of experiences. It began with journaling, then blogging and an overflowing library of photography. I'm obviously all about my family if you've browsed my blogs. As the boys grew up, I found I had less and less time to spend blogging because I wanted to be more present in the moment. |
