Introduction Bill is the founder of LA Community Policing (www.LACP.org), the National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse (www.NAASCA.org) and Adult Survivors of Child Abuse Anonymous (www.ASCA12step.org). Six nights a week he hosts the Internet-based “Community Matters” (Sun) and "Stop Child Abuse Now" (Mon - Fri) radio talk shows (www.blogtalkradio.com/bill-murray). Once a severely abused child and victim of sexual pedophiles, kidnapping and child pornography, Bill publicly told his life story for the first time on Episode #63. Mr. Murray, a long time recovering alcoholic and drug addict, hopes that revealing his past will help explain his passion for serving the community and improve his effectiveness on the forums he’s founded.
Interests Bill advocates for members of society who are weak, vulnerable, innocent, socially outcast, abused, victims of crime, and the physically or mentally challenged. He often covers public safety topics such as domestic violence, child endangerment, missing people, homelessness, racism, victims’ rights, judicial reform and homeland security.
