Introduction | A partner in Haiku Films in San Francisco, Valdiviezo has made documentary, narrative, and experimental films for 10 years. She recently produced profiles of Chilean playwright Carlos Baron and poet Pablo Neruda for KQED’s SPARK series. Valdiviezo wrote the Canadian documentary, MEMORIES OF A DREAMER. The short of her feature, SOLEDAD IS GONE FOREVER, screened at the Cannes Film Market, Los Angeles Latino Film Festival, and New York International Latino Film Festival. The feature was an International Filmmaker NHK Award nominee at the 2007 Sundance Producer’s Conference. Valdiviezo is developing a romantic comedy, PARALLEL LIES, with partner Cesar Viana-Teague. |
