The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?
Um, no...I'm sure I was relieved to have them off and probably promptly lost the shoes. I've avoided shoes most of my life. I'd rather sprint barefoot across gravel. Just a personal preference. :)
