| Interests | I started my teaching career with 7 years teaching 1st grade in Ohio. When my husband was transferred to Georgia, we enjoyed 18 wonderful "winterless" years! Well, compared to Ohio they were winterless! Eight years ago I started writing curriculum for American Legacy Publishers. Three years ago I wrote curriculum for grades k-12 for Turner Broadcasting and Coca Cola. I am a National Certified Teacher and was my county's elementary teacher of the year, as well as Georgia's district 3 science teacher of the year. I know education, and love writing curriculum! Three years ago we moved back to Ohio from Georgia to be in Columbus, where our sons live. It's good to be back home, even with the good old Ohio winters! My husband and I live with a very active schnoodle (cross between a poodle and a schnauzer) that we rescued two years ago. I have three books that were published winter of 2012 in the "Before the Store" series published by The Child's Press and 4 more coming out in the fall. |
