Introduction	I grew up in Minnesota, traveled some but not widely,lived in Iowa and Wisconsin and came back to Mn. I am an artist first but have had a long career in healthcare and with social agencies. I like to bike,swim,walk to exercise, I love and respect nature and animals, like to go to hear classic jazz,rock,selective classical music,browse bookstores but try not to buy because I probably have most of what is there,good pastime tho.
Interests	love to read, write,art,history, aesthetics,literature and critical studies,current news and politics.
Favorite movies	O Brother where art thou, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles (esp: the tollbooth scene) Philadephia, Wedding Singer, Love and Death. lots of others, independent and foriegn film for the subtitles.
Favorite music	Dylan,Dave Brubeck, Ray LaMontaigne, Billy Bragg, Joanie Mitchell, Clapton, Grateful Dead and collaborators, Procol Harum,Amedeus soundtrack,etc.
Favorite books	O my God, where to start,I couldn't really name one only but A Tree Grows in Brooklyn,is one all time fave, Right now, I am reading Exit Ghost by Philip Roth which is great because I have already read all the other Zuckerman novels, but also for all the rich revenge he provides in his Bush Bashing!!!!
