Introduction My passion is to discover what it means to be a Christian in the 21st century in company with others who believe that the ancient roots of faith can speak to modern concerns in fresh ways. I'm sustained by groups like Sojourners in Washington, D.C.; the work of people like Diana Butler Bass (author of "Christianity for the Rest of Us") and Brian McLaren of the "emerging church" movement; and a network of friends across the country who believe these are adventurous times for living out the meaning of following Jesus.
