| Introduction | I started this blog back in 2005 as a way to keep in touch with friends & family as I headed off to Africa to work as volunteer. One of my reasons for Africa was to try & figure out how I could feed my soul a bit more. Although I had an amazing time, Africa threw up more questions than answers & within just a few months of returning to the UK I couldn’t settle. Despite slipping back to working as an accountant for a US company once more, I decided to take a chance & change direction a bit, so when a job came up at Oxfam – I took it. Still an accountant (not my first choice, still working on that), I am now part of team that respond to humanitarian emergencies worldwide. So I still keep this blog to stay in touch and share my travels - I hope you enjoy! |
