Introduction	Not easily typecast, I am still concerned that I am struggling with what to write here. If I cannot write about the subject about which I know more than anyone in the world (me), how will I "write what I know" in a blog? Maybe that's the best "about me": I'm overly-analytical and a little less self-aware than I wish, but I think the best part of being alive is the ability to learn.
Interests	Running, hiking, skiing, sailing, traveling, being outside!, reading, family, Junior League, writing/ journaling, fashion (sewing, trend spotting, business), television news (secret dream is to be a CNBC lady), trivia, board games
Favorite movies	Chariots of Fire, The Thomas Crown Affair, Great Expectations, Cruel Intentions, Father of the Bride, French Kiss
Favorite music	Christmas carols and Joni Mitchell make me emotional and I have never been passionate about seeking out new artists, instead resorting to old favorites (ecclectic!): Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Dispatch, Eric Clapton, MC Solaar, Cat Stevens, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Garth Brooks...
Favorite books	"Like Water for Chocolate", "The Power of One", "Atonement", "The Things We Carried", "The Canterbury Tales", anything Alexander McCall Smith or JK Rowling (also Dave Barry if I'm honest)
