| Introduction | I love to work with what I have. Art and design have been always my interest and passion. I've always loved to design and handmade things since I was a little girl. Making jewellery became the most interest thing for me. I was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. I graduated from Osaka University of Arts with a degree in Fine Arts. I have worked as a designer for several companies with over 16 years experience including Graphic Design, Textile Design, Sports Wear & Equipment Design, Colour & Trend Research, Marketing, Products Research & Development. Frequent travels through Europe, the Middle East and Asia has expanded my knowledge of Jewellery Design and Gemstones. Throughout the 90's, I completed several Jewellery Arts (design + craft) and Gemology courses and I'm qualified as a Colour Coordinator. Now I'm a stay/work-at-home mom, spending my time raising my two daughters while continuing to pursue my passion of designing and creating one-of-a-kind jewellery. |
