| Introduction | I am an ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Certified Diabetes Educator. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 4 years old and my dad was diagnosed just a few years earlier at age 26. I enjoy all sorts of activities: Sports, fitness, music, dance, theater and the list goes on. I also enjoy studying how each activity affect insulin and metabolism differently, which is why I became an exercise physiologist.
