| Introduction | In 2011, Esperanza Garcia will pursue her studies at Yale University & Columbia University. She is co-founder & director for International Youth Council (IYC). Since 2007, IYC has provided educational resources & leadership opportunities to hundreds of young global leaders all over the world. She is the founder of the Philippine Youth Climate Movement & consultant for the Philippine Senate Oversight Climate Change Committee, traveling all over the Philippines mobilizing youth to take action on Climate Change. She was consultant for Friendship Ambassadors Foundation and organized the 7th Annual Youth Assembly at the UN. She was consultant for the Millennium Development Goals Awards Committee, recognizing efforts made to achieve the MDGs by individuals, governments & civil society. She is also working for South-South News, helping South-South countries. She was an official delegate of the Philippines at the UNFCCC COP15 & COP16.
