| Introduction | I am the owner of Industrial Andons (www.industrialandons.com) and Jidoka Consulting (www.jidokaconsulting.com). I enjoy inventing new products that help companies and working with them to solve their problems. I worked for years on the shop floor at Toyota and then served my Tood and Die apprenticeship and got to work on future model vehicle stamping dies. My secondary job was as an internal lean instructor training and coaching over 1,500 Team Members at the Georgetown facility. After leaving Toyota, I worked for Ford where I earned my Six Sigma Black Belt and was in charge of the Tool and Die department at the Heavy Truck Plant. In 2003 I moved to Ocala Florida where I was initially the Lean Manager and then Plant Manager for the Aerial and ARFF Plant. While in Florida, I launched Industrial Andons, LLC and earned my MBA from the University of Florida. In 2006 we moved Industrial Andons to Austin, TX to be closer to some long term consulting customers and for a better family life. |
