| Introduction | At first glance, you'd never know that I prefer the country life over life in the suburbs. Those that know me, know differently. I started my life in a tract home smack in the middle of the suburbs. My parents indulged my country fantasies by taking me to a stable and letting me ride a stout mare named Tumbleweed. While they now enjoy hiking all over the place, they are not into camping, hunting, fishing, and don't like animals...unless the animals live elsewhere or are presented nicely on a dinner plate. Despite my suburban upbringing, I embraced dirt, sleeping under the stars, and many aspects of outdoor life. I like to garden, raise my silly flock of chickens, and pretend I live on a real farm. My farm adventures will be posted here...more for my own amusement than anything else. |
