What author has influenced you the most? Why? Ernest Hemingway with his journalistic style and story telling approach. He puts you in the scene without a lot of wordiness or lean-on adjectives. A good sample is the short novel, The Old Man and the Sea. The opening page sets the tone for a story of struggle and survival.
