| Introduction | Kia Ora, Kamusta, Hello! I'm Melissa. I've gone off the beaten mommy track way down under - in the Land of the Long White Cloud, a.k.a. New Zealand. I used to consult and recruit for the public sector in Wellington. And in another former life in the Philippines, I was a singer, wedding coordinator, advertising exec, writer and Research Associate. But the job I've liked best is still... being Mom. The pay's lousy, the people temperamental, the work 24/7, the food sometimes good depending on who's cooking (more often than not, the hubby) - but I only get one shot at this. I want to make it count big time. |
