| Introduction | I was born February 6, 1564 in Canterbury. I was christened at St. George's Church on February 26, 1564. My parents were Tom and Catherine Marlowe. In my later years, I attended Corpus Christi College. I nearly did not recieve my masters degree of arts because I possibly changed my religion. The authorites ended up taking the situation into their hands and I recieved it in 1587. I have been charged with murder twice in my life and accused of atheism, blasphemy, subversion, and homosexuality. I was also charged of heresay. My friend, Thomas Kyd, was tortured to give evidece against me. Before I was considered guilty, I died in a tavern after getting into a fight. My date of death is May 30, 1593. I was a writer from 1587-1593. |
